About us

A house with a history, a coffee with an origin

Casa Azul is a family project: we live here, we work here in Pereira, and we look after every detail because this place is our home too.

Casa Azul's facade: a two-storey blue house with yellow bands, white window grilles and a staircase with yellow side walls up to the entrance.
Casa Azul's entrance: blue facade with house number 13-98, stone steps and a white railing as someone walks down the stairs.
Casa Azul's covered courtyard: a group talks around a table beneath the leafy mural and the white ornamental staircase with its yellow edge.

2018

Restoring a house, opening a door

In 2018 we restored this colonial-style house in Barrio La Elvira. The idea was clear: a refuge where traditional architecture lives alongside everyday practicality, where days begin with the smell of coffee and end in rooms designed for real rest.

Origin Bridge

Where coffee stops being a product and becomes a story

Casa Azul grew out of a family obsession with specialty coffee and is an initiative of Origin Bridge, which selects and exports Colombian green coffee to demanding roasters abroad. Casa Azul is the final stop of that journey: the place where that coffee is served in a cup.

From the farm to your cup

    Belén de Umbría

Where our coffee story begins: selective picking in the mountains of Risaralda.

  2. 02

    Selection

Origin Bridge works from Pereira, close to the producers, looking after quality at origin.

  3. 03

    Roasting

A roast designed to bring out sweetness and a balanced acidity.

  4. 04

    The bar

Espresso, V60, Chemex or French press, brewed to order.

  5. 05

    Your cup

In the courtyard, at the counter or on the terrace: however you like it.

Profiles change with the harvest; not all coffee always comes from the same farm.

How we see hospitality

  • Quality without shortcuts

From the firmness of the mattresses to the pressure of the espresso machine.

  • Productive quiet

A place to focus and to rest. The noise stays outside.

  • Family-run

No cold corporate processes: direct attention and genuine care.

We are waiting to show you what happens when coffee and calm come together.
